As per Sunderland Echo, both coaches have critical decisions to make, with Le Bris aiming to keep the winning momentum against Unai Emery's strong squad.

Emiliano Martinez is set to return after missing the last match against Nottingham Forest due to a minor injury. He made his comeback in Thursday's second leg victory over Bologna.

Tyrone Mings has also recovered from a minor setback and rejoined the squad on Thursday night.

On the Sunderland side, Dan Ballard is back in full training after overcoming a hamstring issue that sidelined him for the last two matches. He may not be rushed into action and is expected to start on the bench.

Nilson Angulo will be unavailable for Sunday’s match. He is making steady progress and could potentially be back for the Nottingham Forest encounter next weekend, though a more realistic return could happen against Wolves.
