Unai Emery’s squad currently sits fourth and reached the Europa League semifinals this week. According to Sunderland Echo, both managers face important fitness and selection decisions.

Emiliano Martinez is fit to play after missing last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest due to a minor injury, then returning for the Europa League second-leg victory over Bologna on Thursday.

Tyrone Mings is also available, having rejoined the squad on Thursday following a minor injury.

Dan Ballard has returned to full training this week after a hamstring issue that sidelined him for the last two matches. Régis Le Bris is expected to take a cautious approach, likely starting him on the bench.

Nilson Angulo will not feature as Sunday is too soon for his return; however, he is making good strides and may be available for next weekend's match against Nottingham Forest, with the following trip to Wolves looking like a more realistic target.
