Ranking the Largest Increases in Premier League Season Ticket Prices for 2026-27
The price of a Premier League season ticket is set to increase for the 2026-27 season, with various clubs raising their prices beyond the UK inflation rate of 3.2%.
Although securing a season ticket remains the most cost-effective way to guarantee access to every Premier League home fixture, several clubs are aiming to reduce the overall number of season ticket holders in their stadiums.
Fans are subjected to verification checks to ensure their tickets are being used appropriately, facing penalties for failing to resell them back to the club for individual matches.
Additionally, some chairmen are courting one-off attendees. The opportunity to charge them significantly for tickets while encouraging purchases from the club shop makes this approach financially enticing compared to catering to loyal fans.
Currently, only three clubs have stated they will maintain their season ticket prices for the upcoming season – Manchester City, Nottingham Forest, and Tottenham.
The largest increase is at Sunderland, with the cheapest season ticket price climbing by 12.2%.
This rise reflects adjustments made after the club previously offered discounts to fans during their League One tenure, following their return to the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is showing a keen awareness of pricing with his decision to raise admission fees for Manchester United.
Everton and Newcastle are also raising their season ticket prices by a notable 5%, disregarding the ongoing cost of living challenges faced by many supporters outside of the UK’s more affluent regions.
Here’s a list of the cheapest season ticket prices for each club next season, along with the increases from this year.
Note: Aston Villa, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Fulham, and West Ham have not yet released their pricing. Burnley and Wolves are excluded as they will be in the Championship next season.
