Wonderkid Joins Manchester United: First Signing Under Ruben Amorim’s Leadership

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is still settling into his new role, but he has already made his first addition at Carrington.

Over the next few months and years, we can expect several new players to arrive at Old Trafford as the Red Devils adapt to the Portuguese coach’s philosophy and strategies.

This signing is undeniably a move for the future, but Amorim – who recently ranked 11th in eScored‘s list of the best managers currently – will undoubtedly be pleased to have secured his first signing as head coach.

United has secured promising youngster Emmanuel Ziro, as he himself announced in a stylish video on his Instagram.

The 16-year-old joins the Red Devils’ youth setup from the London-based Cre8tive Football Academy.

A report from TEAMtalk indicates that both Arsenal and Chelsea showed interest in the promising talent, but Ziro, a self-proclaimed United supporter, chose to move north.

In another post announcing his transfer, Ziro expressed: “Firstly, I would like to thank my family for all their love, support, and encouragement throughout the years. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a ball at my feet and enjoy playing football.

“I now have the opportunity to continue doing that at the biggest club in the world, as well as the team I support.”

Ziro joins Chido Obi in United’s youth setup, another highly-rated attacking prospect added to the ranks at Carrington this season, who made the move just before Amorim’s arrival.

As per eScored, only time will reveal how this talented youth player progresses, but his journey from a grassroots academy to United at such a young age is an inspiring and remarkable tale.

This also reflects a strong commitment to the Red Devils and the era of Amorim, considering that prestigious clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea were effectively at the player’s doorstep.
