“Near Return” – Mikel Arteta Shares Mixed Injury Update Before Man City vs Arsenal Match

On Madueke: “We have another session tomorrow. It didn’t look that bad after the game, I’m hoping he could be available.”
On Saka: “Bukayo is out, that’s for sure. He’s just starting to do some stuff, but at the moment he’s not available.”

On Saka, Arteta remarked: “Bukayo is out, that’s for sure. He’s just starting to do some stuff, but at the moment he’s not available.”

On a brighter note, he mentioned that Noni Madueke could step in for Saka, with further evaluations pending for Odegaard, Timber, and Riccardo Calafiori.

“We have another session tomorrow. It didn’t look that bad after the game, I’m hoping he (Madueke) could be available,” he stated.

“We will try again. Some players are quite close. We will try tomorrow to push everybody,” he added regarding Odegaard, Timber, and Calafiori.

Manchester City also have a few players out

Manchester City is facing injury issues as well, but their situation appears less severe compared to Arsenal's.
