Roy Keane boldly predicts Premier League title outcome following Arsenal and Chelsea matches

Former Manchester United midfielder and seven-time Premier League title winner Roy Keane has endorsed Arsenal as favorites to win the league this season.

The Gunners continued their excellent form, securing a victory over Brentford at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.

Mikel Merino and Bukayo Saka found the net for Mikel Arteta’s side.

This win became even more significant as Chelsea fell to Leeds United at Elland Road, widening Arsenal's lead over the Blues in the Premier League title race.

Manchester City, following their thrilling 5-4 victory against Fulham, narrowed the gap to two points behind Arsenal.

However, Arsenal's win over Brentford restored their five-point lead, prompting Keane to assert that the title race is ‘over’ already.

In a discussion with Arsenal legend Ian Wright on The Overlap, Keane remarked:

Gunners have been the most consistent team

The Gunners are favorites for the league, with their current trajectory appearing favorable.

Chelsea's defeat to Leeds United has created a nine-point gap between the Blues and Arteta’s team.

The Gunners possess both depth and quality, enabling them to perform under pressure.

If Viktor Gyokeres is unavailable, Merino steps up with vital goals. In case of injuries to William Saliba and Gabriel, Piero Hincapie and Cristhian Mosquera are more than capable to handle defensive responsibilities.

Currently, only City seems poised to challenge them for the title, yet their defensive vulnerabilities could hinder their chances to claim the crown this season.
