La Liga giants Real Madrid have been hit with a significant setback on the personnel front.

This follows defensive standout Éder Militão being forced to leave the pitch during the team’s latest match.

Real Madrid was engaged in a La Liga matchup against Celta Vigo.

Militão started the game, positioned centrally in Xabi Alonso’s defense.

However, early during the match at the Bernabéu, the Brazilian international suffered an injury.

After sprinting back to defend against a Celta Vigo attack, Militão suddenly went down, clutching his hamstring.

Following attention from the medical staff, it became evident that the former Porto player could not continue.

Militão was assisted off the field, visibly in discomfort and facing the possibility of a lengthy absence.
