Liverpool again failed to secure a victory in the Premier League, managing only a draw against a determined Sunderland 1-1 at Anfield.

Regis Le Bris’ squad set up defensively with a 4-4-2 formation early on, yet they frequently pressed forward on the counters, exploiting Liverpool's weaknesses and lack of confidence, despite their recent 2-0 victory over West Ham.

Trai Hume, playing on the right flank, struck the crossbar with a long-range effort, further unsettling the anxious home crowd.
