Now playing a key role in Elche’s lineup as a right wing-back, he played a crucial part in his club's advancement to the 3rd round of the Copa del Rey with a last-minute goal.

Starting once again for Elche in their La Liga clash against Girona, the Spaniard contributed assists for both of the Franjiverdes' initial goals, leading to a 3-0 victory.
