Everything We Know So Far About Liverpool’s Home Kit for the 2025/26 Season

The Liverpool home kit for the 2025/26 season is set to undergo significant transformation. The Reds have entered a new chapter this season with Jurgen Klopp’s departure and Arne Slot’s arrival at the helm. While the majority of the squad has remained intact, their uniforms have evolved.

Traditionally, the Reds’ home kit is red, but it has undergone modifications through the years. The 2024/25 kit drew inspiration from the shirt that Kenny Dalglish, Graeme Souness, and Alan Hansen wore during the 1983/84 season, featuring a pinstripe design in a darker, regal shade of red.

To date, Liverpool has enjoyed considerable success in their new jersey, winning nearly all of their matches at Anfield. So, what can supporters look forward to with the 2025/26 kit?

Footy Headlines has shared its prediction for next season’s kit, marking the first collection produced by Adidas under the new agreement. Prior to this, Liverpool’s kits were crafted by Nike.

According to the forecast, the upcoming season’s shirt will not feature pinstripes. Instead, it will adopt a more minimalist aesthetic, echoing the 2006-07 shirt design, characterized by a slender white line framing the torso and sleeves.

While the 2006-07 shirt prominently featured the iconic Carlsberg sponsorship, next season’s kit will once again be backed by Standard Chartered. This partnership is set to continue until the conclusion of the 2026-27 season.

The 2006-07 kit, sported by Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, Xabi Alonso, and their teammates, was notable as the first of a series of kits designed by Adidas, following Reebok’s departure.

This seems to have influenced the prediction by Footy Headlines, and it remains to be seen whether the design will mirror that of Adidas’s inaugural Liverpool kit nearly two decades ago.

The only distinction between the anticipated 2025-26 shirt and the 2006-07 shirt is the larger, more prominent collar expected on the latter, which will not be present on the new design.

According to Footy Headlines, the shirt is not expected to be available for purchase until July, as Liverpool’s agreement with Nike will not end until late June.

If Slot is able to lead his team to Premier League success and additional trophies this season, it will likely make the wait for the new kit more tolerable for Liverpool supporters.
