Juventus Dismisses Man Utd and Chelsea Bids for Kenan Yildiz, Report Reveals
Last summer, both Manchester United and Chelsea had offers turned down for Juventus prodigy Kenan Yildiz, according to reports.
The 19-year-old showcased his talent during his breakthrough season with Juventus, netting four goals in 32 matches for the team in the 2023/24 season. He also enjoyed a positive Euro 2024, helping Turkiye reach the quarter-finals.
Given the winger’s youth, skill, and promise, major European clubs expressed keen interest over the summer. Both Man Utd and Chelsea had their bids rejected by Juventus, as reported by Corriere dello Sport.
Despite the clear intention to add a new winger during the summer, Man Utd did not enhance their attacking lineup. However, Chelsea made strides by acquiring Pedro Neto and bringing Jadon Sancho on loan from the Red Devils.
Other clubs like Borussia Dortmund, Fenerbahce, and Aston Villa were also interested in the skilled young player, but Juventus was resolute in keeping Yildiz, dismissing all incoming offers.
Ultimately, the Italian club secured Yildiz’s services with a new contract in August, committing him to the club until 2029. He was awarded the iconic No.10 shirt, which has been worn by legends like Alessandro Del Piero, Roberto Baggio, and Michel Platini.
This season, Yildiz has thrived under the guidance of new manager Thiago Motta, establishing himself as a standout forward, netting four goals and contributing three assists in Serie A and the Champions League.
suggests that Man Utd continues to monitor Yildiz, with new manager Ruben Amorim anticipated to enhance his attacking lineup in 2025.
