Major Update: Switching to the “Target Profit” Strategy. Why Your Bankroll Will Thank You

Hi everyone.

We are constantly refining not just our prediction algorithm, but also the math behind our money management. Our goal isn’t just to give you “green ticks” (wins), but to ensure stable bankroll growth over the long run—without the stress, heart attacks, or massive drawdowns.

Starting this weekend, we are implementing a professional financial strategy: Target Profit.

Let me explain in simple terms what this is and why it’s a game-changer for you.

The Problem (The Classic Mistake)

Usually, players use Flat Betting (a fixed amount, e.g., $10 on everything).

It seems logical, but it’s a mathematical trap.

Imagine two matches:

  1. Man City vs. Burnley: City Win (Odds 1.25).
  2. Underdog vs. Favorite: Underdog Win (Odds 4.00).

If you bet $10 on both:

A loss on odds of 4.00 hits your bankroll just as hard as a loss on 1.25.

But the risks are completely different! Betting the same amount on a “sure thing” and a “risky shot” is the fastest way to drain your bankroll over the distance.

The Solution: Target Profit (How We Bet Now)

We are changing our approach. We no longer base our bets on a fixed stake amount. We base them on Desired Profit.

Our Goal: To make a net profit of +2.5% added to the bankroll from every winning bet.

How does this change the bet sizes? Drastically:

🔹 Scenario 1: Reliable Match (Odds 1.30)

To win 2.5%, the system will suggest staking ~8.3% of the bank.

Logic: Low risk, so we can load up a bit more to secure our target profit.

🔹 Scenario 2: Risky Match / Value Bet (Odds 2.50)

To win the same 2.5%, the system will suggest staking only ~1.6% of the bank.

Logic: High risk. If the bet loses, we lose pennies (1.6%). If it wins, we make the exact same money as we would with the favorite.

🤓 Why not the Kelly Criterion?

Some of you might ask: “Why don't we just use the Kelly Criterion? Isn't that the professional standard?”

Yes, Kelly is mathematically the fastest way to grow a bankroll, but it comes with a huge downside: Volatility.

  • Kelly is aggressive: If our model finds a huge value edge, Kelly might suggest betting 15-20% of your bank on a single game. That is psychologically very difficult to handle during a losing streak.
  • Target Profit is stable: We prefer a smoother equity curve. Our strategy is a “safer hybrid.” It scales stakes based on odds (like Kelly) but caps the potential loss to ensure you sleep well at night.

🏆 What Does This Give You? 3 Main Benefits

  1. Protection from Draining (“The Bulletproof Vest”) 🛡️No more situations where one failed risky bet eats up the profit from the whole week. If a high-odds bet loses, your bankroll won't even feel it.
  2. Stable Graph Growth 📈Your profit chart will become smooth. We are cutting out the “rollercoaster.” Every win brings equal profit, regardless of whether the odds were 1.30 or 3.00.
  3. Professional Approach 💼This is exactly how professional syndicates and arbers work. They don't guess “lucky/unlucky”—they mathematically balance the risks.

⚡️ How to Read the New Predictions

In the Bet Size column, you will now see different numbers:

  • If you see 8-10% — the model considers the match reliable (low odds).
  • If you see 1-2% — this is a risky “long shot” (high odds).

Advice: Follow these recommendations strictly. This system is built to survive bad days and generate consistent profit on good days.

Let's test this on the weekend matches! Good luck to us all! 🍀

🗺️ Roadmap: What We Are Working On

We understand that every investor has a different appetite for risk. Right now, the math is set to a default +2.5% growth per win.

However, we are actively developing an exclusive feature for our Premium users that will put you in control. In the future, you will be able to manually decide what percentage you want to target (conservative or aggressive), and the system will recalculate the optimal stakes specifically for your strategy.

👇 Question for you: What money management strategy do you currently prefer? Are you strictly Flat, a fan of the aggressive Kelly, or are you ready to try Target Profit? Let us know in the comments!
