Athletes Who Achieved Double Hat-Tricks

While scoring six goals may occur often on a school playground or local park, it is a much rarer feat in the world of professional football.

Hat-tricks are relatively common, but even achieving four or five goals in a match is considered extraordinary at the highest levels of the sport.

Double hat-tricks are quite rare, yet several players have managed to accomplish this remarkable achievement throughout the years.

This article takes a look at the players who have done it and the teams they left in the dust…

During three prolific seasons at Genk, Sonck netted 80 goals, including six during a 9-0 victory against Mechelen in a top-flight match in November 2002.
