In response to the rumors about Zirkzee as the January transfer window approaches, Giuntoli was non-committal about the club’s ambitions and reiterated their support for the injured Arkadiusz Milik.
“We are waiting for Milik,” Giuntoli remarked. “Zirkzee is a very good player, but he is contracted to Man Utd. I can’t say more at this point; our focus is on different matters right now.”
Similarly, Juventus manager Motta was vague in a recent press event when he addressed transfer issues, claiming: “There is excellent cooperation with the club regarding the transfer market, but I don’t wish to elaborate on that at the moment.”
